Hold the Line Browser Starter Pack

A small, free browser-game starting point for Steel & Storm Jam 2026.

It includes a complete playable loop: defend a beacon, move, aim, fire, and survive increasing waves. There is no engine, build step, network dependency, Steel Expedition code, or game asset inside the package.

Use it your way

• Open index.html in a current desktop browser.
• Replace the theme, rules, art, sound, and mechanics until the game is unmistakably yours.
• For an itch.io HTML upload, upload the ZIP with index.html at the root.

The starter is released under the MIT License. It was made with AI-assisted development; participants remain responsible for following the Jam rules and disclosing their own tools where required.
